How many suppliers will need to provide data for the passport?
The more suppliers, the more a standard format and a structured channel to collect data matter.
Possible answers
- None: all data is internal
All the data needed is produced in-house.
- 1 to 10
A few suppliers: data collection can be arranged one by one.
E.g. one fabric and two trims suppliers.- 11 to 50
A medium number of suppliers: a common data collection template is needed.
E.g. one standard questionnaire for all.- More than 50
Many suppliers: a portal or automated data exchange pays off.
E.g. a portal where each supplier uploads its data.
