About

Data Architecture, Enterprise Integration, and Innovation for the Digital Product Passport

My Background

I am Corrado Facchini, a CTO and Solution Architect with over 25 years of experience in designing IT infrastructure, enterprise software architectures, and driving digital transformation.

Since 2023, I have focused my expertise on the evolution of the Digital Product Passport (DPP), conceiving and developing a SaaS platform designed to guide companies in the native, compliant management of their digital product passports.

DPP Experience & Enterprise Integration

The Digital Product Passport is more than just a regulatory requirement or a static QR code; it is a living ecosystem of interconnected data. Drawing on an extensive background in data integration workflows and Digital Twins, I offer:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience with the DPP: Integrating SaaS-based DPP solutions across a range of organizations—from SMEs to mid-sized companies and large enterprise groups.
  • 15 years of expertise in data flows & Digital Twins: Specializing in the architecture and synchronization of data across core enterprise systems, including:
  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • PIM (Product Information Management)
  • MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
  • CRM, E-commerce, and Supply Chain systems

This integrated perspective allows me to advise companies not only on the creation of their digital product passports but also on the optimization of their entire data value chain. ## The Philosophy Behind DPP Designer

"The Digital Product Passport (DPP) should not be a bureaucratic burden for a company; rather, it should be a strategic opportunity to enhance transparency, sustainability, and supply chain traceability."

DPP Designer was created specifically to bridge the gap between complex EU regulatory requirements and a company’s existing information systems—making the adoption of the DPP simple, straightforward, and seamlessly integrated into current business processes.
